The Plusdial mobile ticketing system has from the very beginning been developed to be compatible with all major vendor specific SMSC (Short Message Service Centre) protocols, allowing quick implementation with all cooperating mobile operators. Plusdial will adjust the service model according to possible connectivity related limitations and requirements, including typically also implementing the telecom operator specific billing system interfaces. Therefore, by offering complete connectivity implementation itself Plusdial system is not dependent on any commercial SMS or billing aggregator or gateway services, reducing messaging costs for the Public Transport company and allowing fine-tuning of the service according to telecom operator specific variations.

In addition to the connectivity components, also the actual ticketing system software will be implemented in a manner that enables fast connection of new telecom operators to the service.
