You can also sell weekly and monthly passes or equivalent season tickets to your frequent customers using mobile ticketing system.  A customer will buy a monthly ticket from customer sales points or at  transport company’s web-store. The price of the mobile tickets is based on the need to use public transport, so it is also following the ideal pay as you go pricing principle.

First a customer will define the amount of trips she/he needs during the next month. The price of the monthly pass will be composed of this. When the monthly pass is paid a mobile ticket will be sent together with a control code and customer is able to use public transport within a month or a chosen period as many times as has been chosen.

A customer will place the mobile phone on the screen of a validator and the valid ticket will be recognized according to a special control code included to the SMS-message.

The system will use different controlling parameters to prevent the misuse of this ticket in cases someone else than the owner of the mobile monthly pass is trying to use the same tickets.
